About Eric
“I like remodels that look as if the house was born that way.”
Eric Gentry got his start in Lawrence, Kansas, where he became a master carpenter and furniture-maker. He worked in many of the home-building trades before founding his own remodeling company in 1988, and he has been remodeling homes around Kansas City ever since.
His designs and carpentry are meant to fit the house that’s already there: its architecture, the way the household lives in it, and what the owners need from it. Deciding to remodel is personal, not only a question of looks and budget, and Eric treats it that way.
He enjoys the collaboration and problem-solving a remodel takes, and works easily alongside architects, engineers, interior designers and tradespeople, and most closely with the homeowner.
“Eric has a gift for creating spaces that look like they’ve always been there”
